Ted Emerson is the owner and President of Beltway Visa and Passport, LLC in Kensington, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. A lifelong Washingtonian, Ted attended both high school and college in Washington, D.C. Ted earned his B.A from The Catholic University of America in 1985 and his MBA from the University of Maryland in 1994.
Ted has over three decades of experience in management in the courier, logistics, fleet management and driver leasing industries. He owned his own driver leasing business for a dozen years, which he sold in early 2010. Since then he has worked in business management for a large transportation business in Washington and has been involved in the start up of two new divisions for the firm. Ted spent the last 4 ½ years managing a visa, passport and document legalization division.
Ted has extensive experience processing at most of the Embassies and Consulates in Washington, D.C., as well as the State Department Authentications Office, the Washington Passport Agency and the District of Columbia Notary Commission.

If for any reason you do not wish to apply directly through the U.S. Passport Office or Embassy, you may use our service to process on your behalf. WE CHARGE A FEE FOR THE SERVICES WE PROVIDE WHICH IS IN ADDITION TO ANY FEES YOU WILL PAY TO THE U.S. PASSPORT OFFICE OR EMBASSY. Our fees range from $70 to $200, depending on the type of service you request. Our fees cover: pickup of your materials in the D.C. area, review of documents, hand submission and pickup by agent including waiting time and our consultation with passport and visa officers.
